It’s a fantastic concept that the developers have executed expertly. But one day she invites you into her world and things take on a whole new dimension (literally). You can do chores, play minigames to earn cash and purchase things for your waifu. For a better experience, consider playing the game at night with headphones and a bottle of sleeping pills next to you.MiSide is an inventive horror adventure where your waifu virtual pet sucks you into her world.Ĭurrently in development by Aihasto (creator of Umfend and Fariwalk), in MiSide your character is playing a mobile game with his own personal waifu. Your heart might stopĬonformity is a fine example of how a good atmosphere and top-notch graphics can turn into a game with mostly static elements to seem incredibly scary. The house is scary and the sounds go along very well into sending chills down your spine constantly, and if that isn't enough, then the jump scares will surely get to you. As you go inside you realize that the door closed behind you, and you have no sense of direction as to what to do next. You are out in the woods and you make your way to an old abandoned cabin that happens to have been left open. The catch is that these few environmental elements, although few in numbers, are extremely well-designed, to the point where you'd swear they were real if you were wearing a VR helmet.Įverything is rendered in hyper realistic 3D with top-quality lighting and shadow effects and high-resolution textures that don't seem pixelated even when you zoom in to the max and squint your eyes at the screen. The game environment is admittedly limited as far as expansiveness goes, as you only have a portion of a forest, and an abandoned cabin to work with. That is precisely the case with Conformity, a 3D horror game set in an extremely realistic environment that will give you goosebumps along the way. The problem is that when you apply this hyper realism to a horror game, you pretty much enhance the fear factor tenfold, as players might actually end up believing they are part of the atmosphere. Technology is evolving and games are coming out that look so amazing, you'd swear they were made in some professional studio that has a long history in making AAA titles.
